Friends Of Staplegrove School (FOSS)

FOSS is a group of enthusiastic parents, carers and family members whose aim is to enhance and enrich the children’s school experience.

Our main focus is on fundraising, through events such as our school discos, cake and uniform sales, spring bingo and our Christmas and Summer events. We aim to make our fundraising efforts effective, affordable and fun as we feel strongly that every child in the school should be able to take part in and enjoy all of our events. 

One of our most enjoyable events of the year is the Christmas dinner and visits from Father Christmas. For Christmas dinner FOSS supply all of the children with Christmas crackers and a drink and the members of FOSS serve lunch to the children. On the same day some members of FOSS dress up as elves and help Father Christmas to deliver presents to the children. We are always met with lots of happy smiles and laughter and it's an amazing day to be part of. 

Can you help us?

FOSS are always looking for more help. We welcome new members at any of our meetings and are always happy for people to help plan events or come up with new fundraising ideas, but this is not the only way you can help.

Can you spare an hour to run a stall at one of our events or 45 minutes to sell cakes after school?

If you think you could help out in any way at all, please let us know. You can catch one of us in the playground, ask a teacher to put you in touch with us, contact us on our Facebook page – Friends Of Staplegrove School or come along to one of our meetings.
